LPG Price Cut from Nov 1: Cooking Gas Cylinders Get Cheaper — Check Latest City-Wise Rates
OMCs announce a ₹5 reduction on 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders, domestic prices remain unchanged
New Delhi, Oct 01 : Starting November 1, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders have been reduced across major Indian cities, offering some relief to businesses dependent on cooking gas.
According to state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs), the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi now stands at ₹1,590.50, down by ₹5 from the previous ₹1,595.50.
The revised commercial LPG rates in other metros are as follows:
Kolkata: ₹1,694.00
Mumbai: ₹1,542.00
Chennai: ₹1,750.00
The latest revision is expected to benefit sectors such as restaurants, hotels, and catering services, which rely heavily on LPG for daily operations.
However, no change has been made to domestic LPG cylinder prices, which remain steady for household consumers.
