Medical College Principal and Ex-VC Central University Serve Pilgrims at Shri Amarnathji Yatra Langar

30-07-2023 : Dr.Ashutosh Gupta Principal General Medical College,Bakshi Nagar & Prof.Ashok Aima ex vice chancellor Central University Jammu visited the langar of Shri Amarnathji Yatra Welfare Society (SAYWS), which has been shifted from Saraswati Dham to TRC counter,Railway Station where these dignitaries interacted with the pilgrims and assessed the facilities provided to them.they all served the langar to pilgrims here and commended the services being offered by SAYWS.

As a gesture of appreciation, SAYWS office bearers honored all the dignitaries.All dignitaries also appreciated langar committee for their tireless efforts.Expressing his gratitude, Sh Kiran Wattal President of SAYWS thanked all guests for their visit and provided a brief overview of the society’s activities.

Later, Sh Anil Gupta Senior Vice President SAYWS emphasized that utmost attention was given to maintaining cleanliness at the langar, and packaged drinking water bottles were provided to the pilgrims.Pure Dogri food is served in langar.He also said langar is continuously running on 31 days continuously successfully.He also praised administration & police personnel for round the clock services to pilgrims.He also thanked media for providing timely information to pilgrims.He further highlighted that SAYWS ran the langar solely with the support of its office bearers, without any external contributions and also “Approximately 3,000 to 4,000 pilgrims were served langar at the SAYWS venue on a daily basis,” he said.He appealed the pilgrims to follow the guidelines issued by administration & after Yatra go to their home places with a message of peace & hospitality of Jammu people.He also thanked all dignitaries for their kind visit & interaction with Yatries.
