Mehbooba Mufti Sayeed’s statement reflects invader’s mind-set looking for “Maal-e- Ganimat: GLR
06-07-2023 : Former MLC & JK UT spokesperson of BJP Girdhari Lal Raina condemned the Divisive, disruptive & confrontational politics of PDP and Mehbooba Mufti Sayeed. Mehbooba Mufti Sayeed’s statement reflects a) the continued hangover of the invader’s mindset of looking for “Maal-e- Ganimat b) her disconnect with ground realities and c) incompetence to pursue constructive politics, Ex-MLC added.
Girdhari Lal Raina – Prabhari of Kashmir Displaced District while speaking in the monthly meeting of District Office bearers cautioned people against the provocative and inflammatory language used by the PDP chief in a Press conference against the UT administration’s historic decision to allot Five Marlas of land to landless citizens of Jammu Kashmir. He stressed that Mehbooba Mufti Sayeed’s use of derogatory phrases like “Maal-e- Ganimat” reveals her continued belief in the ideology of aggressors from places of her forefathers who had invaded India for war booty that includes not only material gains but also women, men, and children, as slaves and sex slaves. Native Indians have fought for centuries against these barbaric forces and will continue to do so till the last monster is eliminated, GL Raina asserted. Taking jibes at Mehbooba Mufti Sayeed, Raina quipped “Maal-e- Ganimat” was plundering of Pandit houses in 1989-90 under the watch of her father who was Minister of Home Affairs during that consequential period. The plundered household items including windows and doors were sold openly in markets in Kashmir. Even Mehbooba Mufti Sayeed chose silence over plunder and loot.
Stressing further, BJP spokesperson said, while the UT administration has explained numbers that Mehbooba Mufti Sayeed tried to use for creating confusion in her usual hit-&-runaway style of armchair politics it is important to remember that entire sections of society like Gurkhas, Valmikis, West Pakistan Refugees were excluded from the policy planning of the successive government in the erstwhile state of Jammu Kashmir.
Praising incessant efforts of the UT administration to mitigate problems faced by the people, in particular the poor, underprivileged and deprived sections of the society, GL Raina said that Welfare schemes of the union government are reaching the intended beneficiaries without pilferage for the first time, he added further.
The proposed policy for Land Allotment to the poor people for the construction of houses under the Prime Minister’s Awas Yojana for the landless people is yet another example of pro-poor, Antodhaya intended governance model of the present dispensation under the overall leadership of Hon’ble.
