Modi Govt committed to national security, firm against anti-national outfits: Kavinder

JAMMU,16-03-2024 : Kavinder Gupta, Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister today welcomed the measures taken by the Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to root out terrorism from the soil of J&K.

Speaking at the programme held here today, the BJP stalwart warmly welcomed the decision taken by the Central Government to enforce stringent anti-terror laws, leading to the prohibition of the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League along with all affiliated factions associated with the separatist conglomerate Hurriyat Conference. He also lauded the Central Govt for banning the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), which is led by imprisoned terror accused Yasin Malik, for another five years.

Kavinder said that Modi Government is treading on the right path giving no room to entities in the country to raise their voice against India. He said that the government has adopted zero tolerance policy against terrorism and those abetting the same in the country.

Criticizing the Congress governments in the past, Kavinder said that earlier people steering the nation used to provide security covers and medical expenses to those who brazenly supported separatism and promoted terrorism. He said that a wrong precedent was set by the successive governments to support Hurriyat and other anti-India entities despite their open threats and actions against the country. This, he said was uncalled for and unwarranted, and looking into this peculiar situation prevailing in the country, the Modi government has taken certain reformative steps to tighten the noose around the enemies of the nation.

By taking stringent actions against groups espousing violence and secessionism, the Modi Government sends a clear message that the sovereignty and integrity of the nation will not be compromised under any circumstances, he added.

Meanwhile, Kavinder Gupta has welcomed the decision of several youths hailing from Jammu City to join the world’s largest political party, marking a significant moment in the party’s outreach efforts.

Today, dozens of youth enthusiastically joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of Kavinder Gupta, Arun Parbhat, President of BJYM, Ashwani Sharma, former MLA, and other distinguished personalities at the Party headquarters in Jammu. The event marked a significant moment as these young individuals embraced the ideologies and principles championed by the world’s largest political party.

Addressing the newly joined members, Kavinder underscored the growing resonance of the BJP across all age groups, emphasizing its status as the preferred choice for a diverse range of people. He highlighted the party’s commitment to inclusive governance and its efforts to address the aspirations of every segment of society.
Furthermore, Kavinder Gupta also took the opportunity to encourage young and first-time voters to actively participate in the democratic process by exercising their right to vote. He emphasized the importance of youth engagement in shaping the future of the nation and urged them to recognize the power of their vote in driving meaningful change and progress.
