Modi Govt restored peace & normalcy, rejuvenated tourism in J&K: Kavinder
Pays obeisance at Matangeshwar Mahadev Mandir, visits Panna Tiger Reserve & Khajwa Kutni Dam
KHAJURAHO (MP): The Centre-led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has restored peace and normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir by way of its policy of zero tolerance against terrorism and rejuvenated tourism by instilling confidence among countrymen with regard to prevailing tranquility in Kashmir resulting in a record number of tourist footfall in the UT.
This was said by a senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister while speaking to media persons after paying obeisance at Matangeshwar Mahadev Mandir in Madhya Pradesh.
The BJP stalwart leader said that Madhya Pradesh has splendid beauty and various world-class destinations of tourist interest like the case of J&K. He said that Madhya Pradesh is particularly famous for its Khajuraho Temples which exhibit the amazing sculptures depicting the rich culture of ancient India.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said Jammu and Kashmir is also an abode for tourism which was severely affected by the scourge of terrorism and turmoil. He said that the Modi Government after taking revolutionary steps in J&K has brought in desired changes reviving tourism in a big way with crores of tourists turning towards Paradise on Earth after a gap of about three decades and also ensured peaceful dwelling once again.
Kavinder said that there is dire need to preserve the cultural heritage of J&K and efforts should be made by all the stakeholders and the public to make the Union Territory the best place for tourism and travel.
Later, Kavinder Gupta also visited Panna Tiger Reserve which is a critical tiger habitat located in Vindhya Hill in northern Madhya Pradesh and fragile through dynamic dry deciduous forest. This land is characterized by extensive plateaus and gorges. It is a land of mesmerizing waterfalls, natural, and archaeological splendors, legends & cultural richness.
He also visited Khajwa Kutni Dam which is a multipurpose River Canal project on the Kutni River situated in Khajwa, Madhya Pradesh. It is the largest dam in Chhatarpur District. The dam is across the Kutni River and it is 7 km from Rajnagar, 12 km from Khajuraho, and 40 km from Chhatarpur District. The dam is famous for its beauty and vastness and Kutni island resort, hotel is located in Kutni Dam Khajwa town.
