Braham Jyot Satti felicitated on his appointment as BJP OBC Morcha President for J&K
Jammu, 02 August 2025: In a massively attended programme held at the BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, Braham Jyot Satti was warmly felicitated on his nomination as the President of the BJP OBC Morcha for Jammu & Kashmir.
Senior BJP leaders, office bearers, and Morcha activists gathered in large numbers to congratulate Satti and express confidence in his committed and energetic leadership.
Prominent BJP leaders who graced the occasion included BJP J&K General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, Vice President Rashpal Verma, General Secretaries Baldev Singh Billawaria and Gopal Mahajan, MLA Yudhvir Sethi, BJP Treasurer Prabhat Singh, National Executive Member OBC Morcha Captain Ramesh Prajapati, Jammu District President Rajesh Gupta, and former Morcha President Sunil Prajapati.
While addressing the gathering, Ashok Koul highlighted the critical organizational role of the Morchas in BJP’s structure and vision. He stated, “Morchas are the soul of the party at the grassroots. They not only represent the voice of specific communities but also act as a bridge between the party and society. The OBC Morcha, in particular, plays a crucial part in mobilizing and empowering a large segment of the population that forms the backbone of our social fabric.”
Koul further added, “Braham Jyot Satti has consistently demonstrated an exceptional commitment to both the organization and the OBC community. His organizational discipline, ability to connect with the common man, and drive to execute programmes that reflect the party’s core values of ‘Antyodaya’ and social justice make him an ideal leader. Under his leadership, the Morcha will further strengthen its booth-level presence, engage youth and marginalized voices, and play a pivotal role in enhancing BJP’s reach across Jammu & Kashmir.”
Rashpal Verma praised Satti’s proven capabilities and expressed confidence that he would continue to expand the organizational structure of the Morcha and actively address the socio-economic issues faced by backward classes in the Union Territory.
Baldev Singh Billawaria appreciated Satti’s deep connection with the grassroots, stating that his ability to mobilize communities for various welfare and awareness initiatives reflects his strength as a mass leader.
Gopal Mahajan extended his best wishes and expressed hope that Satti will tirelessly work for the upliftment of the OBC community while contributing to the party’s mission of inclusive growth and good governance.
