Srinagar, Dec 19: Srinagar International Airport authorities on Friday announced the cancellation of multiple flights scheduled for the day, attributing the disruptions to adverse weather conditions and operational challenges.
In an advisory posted on X, the airport requested passengers to reconfirm the status of their flights with the respective airlines before heading to the airport. Flights operated by Air India, IndiGo, and SpiceJet to and from destinations including Delhi, Amritsar, and Kolkata have been affected.
Officials cited poor weather at destination airports and operational constraints as the primary reasons behind the cancellations. Authorities expressed regret over the inconvenience and urged travelers to stay updated through official airline channels for the latest information.
