Naqvi announces application process for Haj -2021

Mumbai , 07  November: The process of online application for  Haj from Shaniwar has started with the announcement of Haj  2021 with major changes in view of the Corona challenges by Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.

Naqvi announced the Hajj-2021 at the Mumbai Haj House, stating that national-international protocol guidelines would be followed in 2021 in the wake of pandemic positions.  December 10  is the last date for the submission of applications for  Haj 2021. Application for Hajj,  on-line and can be done and offline through the mobile app. He said that Haj  2021 is to be in the month of June-July. The entire process Hajj,  Saudi Arabia and the Government of India eligibility to be decided in view of the corona disaster by government standards,  the age criteria,  getting the health situation, and other relevant guidelines. It will be allowed to go on the Haj pilgrimage only when negative results are received.

The Union Minority Affairs Minister said that due to the feedback received from various agencies including Corona Pandemic Position and Air India, the number of embarkation points which were earlier  21  will remain 10  for   Haj  2021. 10  embarkation points have been set for  Haj  2021 – Ahmedabad,  Bengaluru,  Kochi,  Delhi,  Guwahati,  Hyderabad,  Kolkata,  Lucknow,  Mumbai, and Srinagar.

All Haj pilgrims from Gujarat from Ahmedabad embarkation point, all Haj pilgrims from Bengaluru to Karnataka, Kochi to Kerala,  Lakshadweep,  Puducherry,  Tamil Nadu,  Andaman and Nicobar, Delhi to Delhi,  Punjab,  Haryana,  Himachal Pradesh,  Chandigarh,  Uttarakhand,  Rajasthan and North West region of the state, Guwahati to Assam,  Meghalaya,  Manipur,  Arunachal Pradesh,  Sikkim,  Nagaland, Hyderabad to Andhra Pradesh,  Telangana, Kolkata to West Bengal, All other areas of Uttar Pradesh except Odisha,  Tripura,  Jharkhand,  Bihar, Lucknow, West Uttar Pradesh, Mumbai to Maharashtra,  Goa,  Madhya Pradesh,  Chhattisgarh,  Daman & Diu,  Dadar & Nagar Haveli and Srinagar to Jammu & Kashmir,  Leh- Haj pilgrims from Ladakh-Kargil will leave for the yatra.

Naqvi said that  applications made for Haj 2020 for women going on Haj without “Mehram” (male relatives)   will also be valid for Haj  2021,  along with women who apply for new Haj  without knowing lottery on Haj  2021 Has been arranged (HC)
