National Girl Child Day Week celebrations kick started in kishtwar

Kishtwar, 21-01-2021: District administration kishtwar under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today kick-started the celebration of the National Girl Child Week by organizing an awareness camp in collaborations with the CDPO Kishtwar

On the occasion, Nodal Officer BBBP Kishtwar Mr. Anoop Kumar ( AD Employment/ALC Kishtwar) highlighted the role that Girl Child plays in society besides discussed the issues/challenges they are facing & the way forward for the improvement of sex ratio and education status of girl Child in Society.

Furthermore, Mr. Waseem Hassan Khan ( Employment Officer, DE&CC kishtwar) highlighted the various provisions of the PC& PNDT Act and the need to enforce it in the District. Other women welfare Schemes govt like Ladli-Beti, PM-SYM, etc were also discussed in the program .
