NC urges govt to ensure civic amenities at Gurdwaras on Shaheedi Divas of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji Maharaj 

Jammu, 20 Nov: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Minority Wing Convenor JS Azad has urged the Government to ensure the provision of all essential civic amenities and adequate arrangements at all Gurudwaras across the region on the occasion of Shaheedi Divas, observed annually on 24th November to commemorate the martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.

Azad emphasized that this sacred day holds immense spiritual and historical significance for the Sikh community, and it is the responsibility of the administration to facilitate smooth observance of the commemorative events. He called for uninterrupted water and power supply, sanitation, proper security, traffic management, and other necessary facilities to support the devotees visiting Gurudwaras.

He further appealed to the concerned departments to coordinate effectively and ensure that all arrangements are in place well in advance so that the day is observed with the dignity and devotion it deserves.
