Constitutes Committee for RS Pura, Bishnah & Arnia for ULB election.
JAMMU July 25th: Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial president Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) Jammu today asserted that the Party will protect jobs and land rights of permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir if voted to power in the upcoming elections in J&K.
In a statement issued to media here today, the senior NC leader said that presently there is huge resentment among people across Jammu and Kashmir against BJP for not fulfilling promises made to people after August 5, 2019. He strongly opposed the new laws imposed in Jammu and Kashmir and anti-people and anti-youth decisions taken by the government at the Centre since August 5, 2019.
He said not to talk of the fulfilment of the tall promises, the incumbent Govt has miserably failed even to safeguard the rights of permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir over the land and jobs in this Union Territory.
Rattan Lal Gupta asserted that the failure of the government can be well gauged from the fact that the unemployment graph in the state keeps on pushing upward with each passing day as the Central Govt despite multiple promises made in this regard failed to bring job oriented policies for youth of Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that these youth are today much vulnerable to get lured towards drugs and other anti-social activities.
The Provincial President urged the youth to support wholeheartedly of National Conference and its leadership in the upcoming elections and said that the Party will ensure that the rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir are safeguarded. Besides, the Party will also ensure basic amenities and opening of health centres in the rural as well as urban areas for the welfare of general public, he added.
