NEP by Modi Govt will hone job skills of youths: Kavinder

JAMMU, 13-08-2022 : Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister on Saturday appreciated the initiative taken by the Modi Government in launching New Education Policy to hone job skills of the youths to make their education career oriented and more meaningful.

The BJP stalwart was addressing a gathering after flagging off Tiranga Rally from Shiksha Niketan School Jeevan Nagar.

Kavinder said that old education policy in the country was marred with many deficiencies and had little scope for providing employment to the young lot as more stress was laid on theory.

The senior BJP functionary said that Modi Government took much pain and came up with a comprehensive policy to provide skill based education to the pupils to make them viable for jobs both at government and private sectors. He said that the long term benefits of the New Education Policy are immense and time will only tell the people that how the government has ably changed their course oflife through changing the education set-up.

Later, Kavinder Gupta attended a competition organized by RM Public School Chowadi under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The senior BJP leader was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Chairman of Shiksha Niketan Group of Schools, Rameshwar Mengi was also present.

Kavinder appreciated the participants for their grit and confidence, and said that there is no dearth of talent in J&K but only thing which the UT is lagging is the platform to display the talent. He said that government is afoot to bring in desired changes to develop ample avenues for recruitment of unemployed and provide them dignified options to earn livelihood along with respect and grace.
