Lauds LG Sinha for sacking Govt Employees with terror links
Jammu, Feb 15: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today lauded Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for terminating three government employees, including a jailed policeman, for their alleged terror links. He emphasized that this bold action is a testament to the Modi government’s unwavering policy of zero tolerance against terrorism and its sympathizers in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a press release issued here today, the BJP stalwart stated that the removal of these employees sends a strong message that anyone involved in anti-national activities will face strict consequences. “The Modi government has taken historic steps to root out terrorism and dismantle its ecosystem. The termination of these government employees is a reflection of the administration’s commitment to ensuring that no individual with terror links remains in the system,” he said.
Kavinder further highlighted that the dismissal was carried out under Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution, which empowers the government to take action against those posing a threat to national security without the need for an inquiry. “The old days of appeasement and soft policies on terrorism are over. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, there is no place for terror sympathizers in government services,” he asserted.
The senior BJP leader praised the security agencies and the administration for their continued efforts in identifying individuals who exploit their official positions to aid terrorism. He urged authorities to remain vigilant and take strict action against all those found supporting terror activities in any form.
He reiterated that the Modi government has transformed Jammu and Kashmir’s security landscape, cutting off financial and logistical support to terror outfits. “The government is determined to ensure peace, stability, and development in J&K. No one will be allowed to disrupt the progress we have achieved,” he added.
Appealing to the people to stand united against terrorism, Kavinder said that the administration is working tirelessly to create a secure and prosperous future for Jammu and Kashmir. “The nation stands firm against terrorism, and the Modi government will continue to take decisive action to eliminate its roots,” he added.
