NTA Releases 2026–27 Exam Calendar
JEE Main 2027 Session 1, UGC-NET, CUET PG and other major entrance tests included in the tentative schedule.
New Delhi, Sep 19 : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released its tentative examination calendar for the December 2026 to March 2027 period, giving students an early overview of several major national level entrance and eligibility tests.
According to the schedule, the first session of JEE Main 2027 will be conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 and 30. January 31 has been kept as a buffer date. The examination will be held for candidates seeking admission to engineering and other participating technical programmes.
The calendar also includes the December 2026 UGC-NET examination, with the test scheduled to begin from December 14. The Joint CSIR-UGC NET, NIFT Entrance Examination, CMAT and CUET PG are among the other examinations listed for the upcoming testing cycle. https://ummid.com/
The agency has described the schedule as tentative, meaning candidates should continue to monitor official notifications for detailed information on registration dates, examination centres, application procedures and other instructions.
The announcement is expected to help students and educational institutions plan their academic and preparation schedules in advance. Candidates appearing for multiple examinations will also be able to identify possible overlaps and organize their preparation accordingly.
