‘O’ Romeo’ Box Office Day 15: Shahid Kapoor Film Surpasses ₹60 Crore on Third Friday

Shahid Kapoor’s romantic drama inches towards ₹100 crore worldwide as third-week collections taper off

Mumbai, Feb 28 : Shahid Kapoor’s latest release O Romeo has crossed the ₹60 crore milestone at the domestic box office, entering its third week in theatres with slowing but steady numbers.

The romantic drama earned an estimated ₹1.15 crore on its third Friday, taking its total India net collection to approximately ₹62.7 crore, according to trade estimates. The film had opened strongly with a first-week total of ₹47 crore, followed by ₹14.45 crore in its second week, before witnessing a gradual decline in daily earnings.

In gross terms, the film has collected around ₹73.05 crore in India. Internationally, it has added an estimated ₹23.3 crore, pushing its worldwide total to roughly ₹97.35 crore. With no major releases competing this weekend, the film is expected to cross the ₹100 crore global mark soon.

Among Shahid Kapoor’s highest grossing films, O Romeo currently stands fifth in India net collections. His biggest box-office success remains Padmaavat (₹302.15 crore), followed by Kabir Singh (₹278.8 crore). Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and R… Rajkumar occupy the third and fourth spots respectively.

For Triptii Dimri, the film ranks as her third highest grosser. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 leads her box office chart, followed by Bad Newz.

Despite a dip in pace, the film’s consistent hold indicates it may continue to add to its earnings in the absence of strong competition.
