O’ Romeo Day 3 Box Office: Shahid Kapoor’s Biggest Post-Pandemic Hit, Surpasses TBMAUJ

Vishal Bhardwaj’s romantic thriller crosses ₹30 crore in opening weekend, outpaces Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya*

Mumbai, Feb 16 : The O’ Romeo box office day 3 figures confirm a solid opening weekend for O’ Romeo, making it Shahid Kapoor’s strongest performer in the post COVID period.

Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the romantic thriller collected ₹30.15 crore nett in its first three days, according to trade tracker Sacnilk. Although collections dipped slightly on Sunday, the film maintained steady momentum overall.

Day-wise Collection (Nett – India)

Friday: ₹8.5 crore

Saturday: ₹12.65 crore

Sunday: ₹9 crore

Total: ₹30.15 crore

The film opened at ₹8.5 crore on Friday, marking Kapoor’s biggest opening day since the pandemic. It has already surpassed the opening weekend total of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, which had earned ₹27.1 crore in its first weekend after debuting at ₹6.7 crore.

Also starring Triptii Dimri in the lead, the film is adapted from Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. The ensemble cast includes Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Vikrant Massey and Tamannaah Bhatia.

While critical reception has been mixed, audience turnout has propelled the film to a promising start. The coming weekdays will determine whether the thriller can sustain its momentum and convert its opening into a strong theatrical run.
