Objection to ‘Bharat’ instead of India exposes Cong & its ilk’s anti-national mindset: Kavinder
‘If Bharat Jodo Yatra, Bharat Mata Ki Jai acceptable than why not President of Bharat?’
JAMMU,05-09-2023 : Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Tuesday castigated opposition especially Congress leadership for raising unnecessary hue and cry over the issue of calling India as ‘Bharat’.
In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP stalwart leader questioned Congress party that if Bharat in Bharat Jodo Yatra is justified then what is the difficulty in calling the country with this widely accepted title which showcases the magnificence of country using exclusively the aboriginal language? He also questioned that to whom the nationalists address when they say Bharat Mata Ki Jai?
Kavinder maintained that if in the aforesaid cases the title Bharat co-relates to more popular title of the Country viz India then there should be no problem to the countrymen to substitute Bharat with India.
The senior BJP leader said that Congress leadership has always a problem with the righteous steps taken by the nationalist BJP leaders as it feels satisfaction in going in the direction contrary to BJP no matter if the path is anti-India or anti-Hindu as well.
Kavinder said that the objection to use of ‘Bharat’ instead of India has exposed the anti-national mindset of Congress party and others in its coterie because there should be no hostility in calling the country with the name of Bharat because if Bharat Jodo Yatra is justified and if Bharat Mata KI Jai is also acceptable then there should be no opposition to Bharat’s use as the name of the country especially when it is already used for the purpose since ages.
