Jammu, Feb 6: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday presented the 2026-2027 Budget in the Legislative Assembly, emphasizing a vision for sustainable growth, social cohesion, and economic prosperity across the Union Territory.
Abdullah described the Budget as a strategic blueprint aimed at modernizing the region and fostering a progressive, economically vibrant society through enhanced investment, innovation, and participatory governance.
“With deep humility and unwavering resolve, I rise today to present my second Budget as Finance Minister. It is a privilege to shape the financial future of our land,” he said.
