EnAble India and BIAL collaborate to promote inclusive mobility, technology-driven solutions, and the Purple Economy

Bengaluru, Nov 20: EnAble India and Bangalore International Airport Ltd. (BIAL) co-hosted the Open Sky Open Mind (OSOM) Summit and Awards 2025 at BLR Airport, creating a global platform to celebrate innovation, inclusion, and social impact.

The summit brought together airport leaders, startups, innovators, and changemakers, including persons with disabilities, to reimagine accessible and inclusive mobility solutions for India and beyond.

Designed as an immersive, experience-led conference, OSOM 2025 highlighted the potential of airports, technology, and universal design to enable all individuals, regardless of ability, to navigate the world with dignity and independence.

Dipesh Sutariya, Co-founder and MD of EnAble India, said, “Inclusion means business! Persons with disabilities are contributors, creators, consumers, and essential participants in India’s economic growth. OSOM 2025 demonstrates how technology, design, and human intent come together to build solutions that benefit everyone. Our partnership with BIAL charts a blueprint for the Purple Economy – where profit meets purpose.”

Hari Marar, MD & CEO of BIAL, added, “Airports are inclusive melting pots reflecting global diversity. OSOM provides a platform to co-create real-world solutions with employees, passengers, startups, and organisations like EnAble India. Accessible airports empower people of all abilities to travel, connect, work, and share ideas while setting new global benchmarks.”
