Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026: PM Modi to Engage with Students in Second Episode Today

Annual initiative aims to ease exam pressure as record participation underscores the programme’s expanding national reach.

New Delhi, Feb 09 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will engage with students on Monday in the second episode of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026, an annual initiative designed to promote a positive outlook toward examinations and academic challenges.

The session will be broadcast on the Prime Minister’s official YouTube channel, Doordarshan, and multiple digital platforms, enabling students, parents, and educators nationwide to tune in as the examination period approaches.

Sharing details on X, the Prime Minister said the conversation on stress-free tests would continue with participation from “Exam Warriors” representing Devmogra, Coimbatore, Raipur, and Guwahati. He noted that their questions and insights make the episode particularly engaging.

Organised by the Ministry of Education, the programme encourages learners to treat exams as part of growth rather than a source of anxiety. This edition is expected to address topics such as maintaining confidence, managing pressure, and navigating board examinations effectively.

The format emphasises open dialogue, with students posing questions directly and receiving practical guidance. The first episode aired on February 6, after which Modi shared highlights of his interaction and explained that a multi-location approach was introduced following requests for wider regional participation.

Since its launch in 2018, the initiative has witnessed a steady rise in registrations. Participation increased from about 38.8 lakh in 2023 to 2.26 crore in 2024, and further to 3.53 crore in 2025—an achievement that earned a Guinness World Record. The 2026 edition has surpassed previous figures, drawing over 4.5 crore registrations so far.

Recent editions have recorded notable engagement from states including Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, and Assam, reflecting the programme’s broad appeal.

Modi has consistently urged students to approach examinations with calm and discipline, describing them as opportunities for learning. With major academic tests on the horizon, the upcoming interaction is set to reinforce that message while offering reassurance to millions preparing for their exams.
