PDP Rolls Out Additional 17 Candidates for Upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Poll

JAMMU, Aug 28:  The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced an additional list of 17 candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. This fresh list was released by the party’s parliamentary board, which has strategically chosen candidates for various assembly constituencies across the region.

According to the announcement, Mohammad Khursheed Alam will be contesting from Eidgah, Sheikh Gowher Ali from Zadibal, Mohammad Iqbal Trumboo from Chanapora, and Bashir Ahmad Mir from Ganderbal. Additionally, Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi will represent Budgam, while Adv Javid Choudhary has been fielded from Surankote, and Adv Mahroof Khan from Mendhar.

The list also includes Farooq Inqilabi for Gulabgarh, Adv Syed Majid Shah for Kalakote-Sunderbani, Adv Haq Nawaz for Nowshera, and Master Tasaduq Hussain for Rajouri. Adv Guftar Ahmed Choudhary has been selected for Thannamandi, Syed Tajamul Islam for Bandipora, and Adv Abdul Haq Khan for Lolab. Basharat Bukhari will contest from Wagoora Kreeri, with Javaid Iqbal Ganaie running from Pattan.

The PDP’s announcement reflects their continued efforts to strategically position candidates in key constituencies as they gear up for the elections in the region.
