Physical Class work starts in Jammu winter zone schools amid Women’s Day celebration

JAMMU, MARCH 09: The Physical Classwork for Primary and Middle classes started in Jammu winter zone on March 8 amid women’s day celebration after an about one-year-long sabbatical forced by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The opening of schools was marked by the celebration of International Women’s Day, in which over 3.5 lakh students, teachers, and other staff members participated.

Director School Education Jammu, Anuradha Gupta, congratulated all the students, parents, teachers, staff members, and other stakeholders for the reopening up of schools and at the same time cautioned everyone to follow all the safety measures properly.

To mark Women’s day, School Education Directorate organized a series of activities like webinars, seminars, debates, short races, games, etc across the ten districts of Jammu division, which coincided with the opening up of schools. Over 3.5 lakh students and teachers participated in these activities.
