PM Modi Heads to South Africa Ahead of G20 Summit

During the trip, he will also participate in the sixth IBSA Summit and share India’s vision of global cooperation.

NEW DELHI, Nov 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday began a three-day visit to South Africa to attend the first-ever G20 Summit being hosted on the African continent.

While in Johannesburg, Modi will also take part in the sixth IBSA Summit, held on the sidelines of the G20 discussions.

“I will present India’s perspective at the Summit in line with our vision of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ and ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’,” the Prime Minister said in his departure statement.

The visit underscores India’s commitment to global dialogue and multilateral cooperation, highlighting its role in shaping discussions on sustainable development, inclusive growth, and international collaboration.
