PM Modi to Share Key Messages in 126th Edition of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Today

Broadcast to highlight citizen driven initiatives, unity, and India’s inspiring stories

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the 126th episode of his monthly radio programme, ‘Mann Ki Baat’, on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. The broadcast will reach millions of citizens across India through All India Radio, Doordarshan, and multiple digital platforms, including the AIR News website, Newsonair mobile app, and YouTube channels of AIR News, DD News, the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

The flagship programme, aired on the last Sunday of every month since October 2014, has become a cornerstone of public communication, enabling the Prime Minister to directly engage with the people of India. After the Hindi broadcast, Akashvani will air the programme in various regional languages to ensure inclusivity and accessibility across the nation’s diverse linguistic landscape.

Over the years, Mann Ki Baat has covered themes like cleanliness, environmental protection, women’s empowerment, digital literacy, grassroots innovation, and citizen-led initiatives. It has also showcased inspiring stories of unsung heroes driving change in their communities.

In the previous 125th episode, PM Modi praised a security guard who documented the names of fallen soldiers, underscoring the values of sacrifice and patriotism. He also highlighted the importance of sports and unity in building a vibrant India, saying, “Jo Khelta Hai, Woh Khilta Hai.”

The Prime Minister further interacted with athletes, including Mohsin Ali from the Khelo India Water Sports Festival and Odisha’s Rasmita Sahoo, commending their dedication and achievements.
