PM Modi Extends Warm Dhanteras Greetings, Wishes Health, Wealth, and Prosperity to All
New Delhi, Oct 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday extended heartfelt greetings to the nation on the occasion of Dhanteras, praying for the well being, prosperity, and good health of all citizens.
In a message posted on X, PM Modi said, “Heartfelt Dhanteras greetings to all my family members in the country. On this sacred occasion, I pray for everyone’s happiness, prosperity, and good health. May Lord Dhanvantari bestow his abundant blessings upon all.”
Dhanteras marks the beginning of the five day Diwali celebrations and is considered an auspicious day for purchasing gold, silver, and other valuable items, symbolizing wealth and prosperity. The festival is dedicated to worshipping Goddess Lakshmi, the deity of wealth, and Lord Dhanvantari, the god of health and Ayurveda.
PM Modi’s message emphasizes the importance of health, wealth, and togetherness during this sacred festival. He encouraged citizens to celebrate with faith and optimism, highlighting the significance of cultural unity and spiritual strength in the country.
Other leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, also shared their greetings, wishing citizens well being, social harmony, and prosperity on the occasion of Dhanteras.
