“Birthday greetings to Home Minister Shri Amit Shah Ji. He is widely admired for his commitment to public service and tireless work. He has played a vital role in enhancing India’s internal security and ensuring every citizen lives in safety and dignity. Praying for his long and healthy life,” Modi tweeted.
Born on October 22, 1964, in Mumbai to a Gujarati family, Amit Shah has been a pivotal figure in the Bharatiya Janata Party, contributing significantly to its rise on the national stage. His long-standing association with PM Modi dates back to their early days in Gujarat’s RSS circles during the 1980s.
On his birthday, Shah is set to celebrate the Gujarati New Year, Bestu Varas, in Ahmedabad, hosting traditional rituals and welcoming visitors at his residence.
