Jammu, 19 Sept 2025: The Central University of Jammu under the patronage of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sanjeev Jain, and the guidance of Dean Students’ Welfare, Prof. Ritu Bakshi, the Creative Writing Club of Central University of Jammu successfully organized a Poetry Writing and Essay Writing Competition as part of the ongoing Hindi Fortnight celebrations. More than 40 students enthusiastically participated in the event, showcasing their creative talent by presenting thoughts on Hindi language, literature, and culture.
The panel of judges for the competition included Dr. Jai Bhawani Singh and Dr. Naresh Sharma, while the event was coordinated by Dr. Ratnesh Kumar Yadav with Dr. Vishal as co-coordinator.
The objective of the competition was to generate interest in Hindi among students, encourage creativity, and highlight the importance of the language. Through their writings, students emphasized the relevance of Hindi in contemporary times and its significant role in society.
Hindi Fortnight not only reflects our bond with the language but also provides an opportunity to appreciate the richness of our culture and traditions. It also reminds us of our duties towards the nation.
Dean Students’ Welfare, Prof. Ritu Bakshi, thanked the organizing team for the successful conduct of the competition and appreciated the creativity of the participating students.
