The Defense spokesman based in Jammu confirmed the incident, noting that the operation was taking place in the Dera Ki Gali (DKG), Thanamandi, Rajouri area. The unfortunate event occurred around 3:45 PM when terrorists ambushed two army vehicles transporting troops to the operational site. Swift retaliation from our troops followed, resulting in three soldiers losing their lives and three others sustaining injuries.
