Practice of stopping a third of the salary in the army

Now  , relief for those who did not give their reporting for 10 months. Army  soldiers and JCOs will not have to fill  Part-2 orders

New Delhi, 10 December: The soldiers deployed in defense of the country along the border will no longer be deprived of their one-third salary. Till now, a third of the salary of soldiers and JCOs who were not reporting in the army for 10 consecutive months was deducted. Now the new Department of Military Affairs (DMA) formed under the Ministry of Defense for the three  Services has given clear instructions to the Controller General of Defense Account (CGDA) not to cut the salary.
In fact, after going on leave for any reason or posting or promotion elsewhere, the salary of the Jawans or JCOs who did not fill Part-2 orders for 10 months, was cut by a third. Many times the posting of jawans stays in the same place for more than 10 months and during this time they do not even go on leave but they also had to fill part-2 orders. Though there is no such rule in the army, this practice was implemented at the level of officers. This amount was received by the soldiers after much effort and grievances.

When the matter reached the new Department of Military Affairs, the recently formed Ministry of Defense under the Ministry of Defense, the  DMA made it clear that it is wrong to withhold a third of the salary of soldiers if the  Part-2 order is not given.  Not only this, the  DMA has instructed the Controller General of Defense account to immediately ban the deduction of salary in this way. The DMA also said that if the salary of a jawan or JCO was deducted for not filling the Part-2 order after November, it would be considered a violation of instructions. At the same time, instead of stopping the salary, instructions have been given to strengthen the reporting system.(H.C.).
