POONCH: J&K National Conference on Saturday blamed J&K admin for its failures in handling day to day affairs as J&K continues to face an unprecedented political uncertainty.

This was said by  former MLA and Provincial President Youth National Conference (YNC) Ajaz Jan while interacting with media in Village Arai, Block Mandi of district Poonch.  He took stock of the problems being faced by people of the area.

The former MLA observed that the development works initiated during the National Conference regime has become stand still as the funds received under Capex and State Plan remains non-utilized. He said the people of district Poonch have been facing acute hardships due to the lack of basic amenities.

Ajaz stated that it is really an irony that district administrations of Jammu Province have even failed to utilize 25 per cent of the Capex Budget which reflects government’s miserable failure on all fronts leaving the people of the state to fend for themselves. He said that the present regime has miserably failed to stand on the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Jan said that the present government is indifferent towards the plights of the people as there is no mechanism established through which the people can tell their sordid tales to the administration. He said particularly the people residing in far-off areas are the worst suffers. He maintained that during NC’s regime the doors of the entire leadership of the party used to remain open for the people as listening to people grievances was considered as top priority and resolving the issues was always on top of the agenda of NC Governments in the past.

Sarpanch Arai Malkan, Aslam Malik submitted a memorandum to the senior NC leader regarding the management of Aria Main Road which was constructed under PMGSY. He also mentioned that the road from Kalsan to Moorian was damaged for the last so many months but the present administration has not showing its serious concern to repair the same.

After giving them a patient hearing, the former MLA assured to take up their issues with the authorities concerned for early redresalf of their demands. He asserted that the state is passing through a difficult phase and need of the time is to strengthen the hands of Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah to steer it to peace, progress and development.
