President Droupadi Murmu to Visit Lucknow, Attend Two Key Functions Tomorrow
Day Long visit includes meditation programme launch and closing ceremony of scouts and guides celebrations.
Lucknow, Nov 27: President Droupadi Murmu will undertake a day-long visit to Lucknow on Friday, attending two significant programmes during her stay.
The President is scheduled to arrive at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in the morning and will proceed directly to the Brahma Kumaris’ event around noon. She will attend the launch of the organisation’s annual theme for 2025-26, titled ‘Meditation for Global Unity and Trust’.
Following the programme, the President will rest at the Raj Bhawan before heading to the Defence Expo ground in the late afternoon. There, she will participate in the closing ceremony of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of the Bharat Scouts and Guides.
President Murmu is expected to depart for New Delhi the same evening. Authorities in Lucknow have implemented comprehensive security measures and traffic diversions in anticipation of her visit.
