Arun Jaitley Remembered On His 5th Death Anniversary
Jammu, 24-08-2024: Rich tributes were paid to the illustrious National Personality Late Shri Arun Jaitely a noted Supreme Court lawyer and former Union Minister on his 5th Death Anniversary at Jammu. The function was attended by family members, family friends, and his admirers in large numbers.
At the outset, his Sister-in-law Nidhi Dogra Sharma Chairperson Dogra Samaj Trust Mumbai and Daughter of Legendary Political Personality of Duggar Kare Shri Girdhari Lal Ji Dogra, spoke briefly about his life and works. She said that Shri Jaitley had a special love and liking for Jammu and played a pivotal role in the developmental endeavours of Jammu and Kashmir.
Capt Lalit Sharma IFS former APCCF accompanied by Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila President NDS and Prof.Anupama Sharma Patron NDS paid homage to the departed leader on behalf of Nami Dogri Sanstha. Capt. Lalit Sharma described him as a proud National Leader and a great visionary.
Kavinder Gupta former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir said that he was a tall and versatile leader who was a recognized intellectual, a noted advocate, and a vibrant political figure.
Chander Prakash Ganga former Minister expressed him as a great human being and a humble personality despite his high official positions.
Sat Pal Sharma former Minister said that Jaitely Sahib had always soft corner for Jammu and Kashmir and described him an orator of par excellence.
Ashok Khajuria while paying absence to the great leader said that Jaitley was a complete personality who had played a significant role in making a strong India and was an internationally recognized figure .
Shravan Sharma Co-brother of Shri Arun Jaitley recalled his long association with him and said that he always made us proud.
