Actress opens up on ‘Pawanism’, signing the film instantly and her experience working with the star
Mumbai, Mar 18 : Ustaad Bhagat Singh actor Raashii Khanna has shared her experience of working with Pawan Kalyan, highlighting the immense admiration his fans have for him.
Speaking at a recent press interaction, the actress described witnessing the phenomenon popularly known as “Pawanism”, saying the crowd’s devotion felt almost spiritual as they cheered for the superstar.
Khanna revealed that she agreed to join the project immediately upon learning about Pawan Kalyan’s involvement, even before hearing the script. She noted that working with him had long been a personal aspiration since the early days of her career.
Clarifying her role, she said the film features multiple characters with distinct arcs, adding that her part offers variation and includes a high-energy song sequence.
Beyond his on screen persona, the actress also praised Pawan Kalyan’s simplicity and thoughtful nature, describing him as someone deeply inclined towards reading and introspection.
At a separate pre-release event, the actor spoke about his journey in cinema and credited his elder brother Chiranjeevi as his biggest inspiration. He also acknowledged the support of Ram Charan and filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana.
The film is scheduled to hit theatres on March 19, generating strong anticipation among fans.
