NEW DELHI, Apr 22: Marking one year since the tragic Pahalgam terror attack, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, delivered a powerful message underscoring the nation’s unwavering stand against terrorism and violence. Paying homage to the victims, he emphasized that India’s spirit remains unshaken in the face of fear and hatred.
In a heartfelt tribute, Gandhi remembered the innocent lives lost in the brutal attack that shook the nation. He highlighted that the pain endured by the families of the victims continues to resonate deeply across the country, reinforcing a shared sense of grief and solidarity among citizens.
Describing the attack as a cowardly act, he asserted that the sacrifices of those who lost their lives would never fade from the nation’s collective memory. In response to the attack, India had launched a significant countermeasure known as Operation Sindoor. The operation targeted terror infrastructure across the border, including locations in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir, signaling a firm stance against cross-border terrorism.
