Rahul Gandhi Rejects Exit Polls as ‘Modi Poll,’ Asserts INDIA Bloc’s Confidence in Winning 295 Seats

New Delhi, 02-06-2024 : Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday dismissed the exit polls broadcast by news channels on Saturday, which predicted a sweeping victory for the NDA, calling them a “Modi poll.” He expressed confidence that the INDIA bloc would secure 295 seats.

When asked for his reaction to the exit polls, Gandhi stated, “This is the Modi poll. This is not an exit poll, brother, but a Modi-media poll. This is Modiji’s poll. This is a fantasy poll.”

In response to a question about the number of seats the INDIA alliance might win, Gandhi quipped, “Have you heard the song ‘295’ by Sidhu Moose Wala?”

It is noteworthy that yesterday, while addressing the media following the INDIA alliance meeting, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge declared that the coalition was on track to win more than 295 seats, citing the immense public support the alliance received during the election campaign.
