Raj Kundra Speaks Out Amid Legal Battle, Demands Fair and Final Verdict

Kundra asserts faith in judiciary, says he will accept consequences only after a lawful verdict

Mumbai, Apr 08 : Businessman Raj Kundra has broken his silence amid ongoing legal developments, stating that he is ready to face the outcome of a fair judicial process but refuses to be judged by public opinion. In a strongly worded message shared on X, Kundra expressed frustration over prolonged scrutiny, asserting his commitment to the legal system.

He emphasized that despite enduring intense media coverage, speculation, and online criticism, he has chosen to remain patient and respectful of due process. Calling for closure, Kundra said he now seeks a clear and final verdict based on facts and justice. He also stated that he would accept any consequences if proven guilty in a court of law, but insisted that judgment should not be influenced by public narratives.

The businessman, who has largely avoided public commentary during previous controversies, appeared more assertive in his latest statement, signaling a shift in his approach. His message underlined a demand for transparency and fairness as legal proceedings continue.

In a recent development, the Bombay High Court allowed Kundra to challenge an ex parte anti-suit injunction issued by the High Court of England and Wales concerning his stake in the IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals. The order, passed by Justice Abhay Ahuja under Clause XII of the Letters Patent, permits the case to be pursued on the court’s original side, marking an early procedural relief for Kundra in the ongoing dispute.
