Jammu, January 6, 2025 – Rakesh Kumar Koul, renowned social activist, political analyst, and former Sarpanch, visited the Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu today to check on the health of Advocate Kanav Sharma, a dedicated BJP youth leader. Kanav Sharma sustained injuries in a shocking incident where he was shot by unidentified miscreants, sending ripples of concern through the region.
During his visit, Koul expressed profound concern over the attack and extended his heartfelt wishes for Sharma’s swift and complete recovery. Condemning the violent act, Koul stressed the importance of maintaining peace and harmony in Jammu, often celebrated as the “City of Temples.”
Koul also called for immediate and stringent action by law enforcement authorities against the perpetrators, emphasizing the urgent need for stronger measures to ensure public safety and prevent such incidents in the future. He urged the administration to strengthen efforts to preserve Jammu’s reputation as a safe and peaceful city for all its citizens.
