Rashmika Mandanna Finally Breaks Silence on Engagement Rumours with Vijay Deverakonda: ‘Everyone Knows About It’

Mumbai, Oct 28 : The long running rumours surrounding Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s engagement have once again taken centre stage after the actress seemingly confirmed the speculation.

During a recent promotional event for her film Thamma, Rashmika was asked about the ongoing engagement rumours. With a smile, she responded, “Everyone is aware about it,” subtly hinting that the reports may indeed be true, as reported by Telugu360.

Earlier, at the trailer launch of The Girlfriend, producer Allu Aravind teasingly remarked that Vijay Deverakonda would attend the film’s pre-release event  a comment that left both Rashmika and the crowd smiling.

When Rashmika Was Teased About Her ‘Engagement’

In another instance, during an interview with Galatta Plus, the actress was congratulated by the host — leaving her momentarily puzzled. When the interviewer clarified he meant her new perfume line and jokingly added, “or is there something else?”, Rashmika laughed and replied, “Actually, there’s quite a lot happening. So I’ll take your congratulations on them all.” The clip quickly went viral on social media, adding fuel to the fire.

Rashmika and Vijay: From Co-Stars to Couple?

Rashmika and Vijay’s on-screen chemistry in Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019) made them one of Tollywood’s most adored pairs. Over the years, their close bond has sparked speculation of a real-life romance.

Recently, reports claimed the duo got secretly engaged earlier this month, with both being spotted wearing similar rings  Rashmika’s diamond band and Vijay’s simple platinum ring.

If rumours are to be believed, the couple may tie the knot in a private ceremony in February 2026, attended only by close friends and family.
