Reliance Intelligence to Develop AI Data Centers in India, Promote Global Partnerships and Nurture Talent

New Delhi, Sep 11: Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has taken a major step in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) by establishing a wholly owned subsidiary, Reliance Intelligence Limited. The company received its certificate of registration from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on September 9, following an announcement at RIL’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) last month.

At the AGM, Chairman Mukesh Ambani outlined the subsidiary’s mission: to develop gigawatt-scale AI-enabled data centers across India powered by green energy. These state-of-the-art data centers will serve national-level AI training and inference needs.

Provide AI-driven services tailored for India’s needs.

Nurture and develop AI talent nationwide.

Construction of gigawatt-scale AI data centers has commenced in Jamnagar, Gujarat, with phased development aligned with Reliance’s green energy ecosystem.

The AGM also saw Mukesh Ambani’s children taking active roles in the company’s business strategy:

Akash and Isha Ambani presented plans for telecom and retail sectors respectively.

Anant Ambani, youngest of the trio, made his debut as an executive director on RIL’s board, highlighting his expanding role within the group.

This strategic move underscores Reliance’s commitment to becoming a key player in AI and advanced digital infrastructure in India, aligning with the nation’s technological and sustainable growth objectives.
