Rijiju Offers Chadar at Ajmer Sharif Dargah on Centre’s Behalf
Union Minister prays for peace, prosperity and national development during Urs celebrations
JAIPUR, Dec 22: Union Minister for Minority Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, on Monday offered a ceremonial chadar at the Ajmer Sharif Dargah on behalf of the central government as part of the ongoing Urs celebrations.
Speaking to reporters, Rijiju said, “I have come to the dargah during the Urs. While presenting the chadar, I prayed for peace and prosperity on behalf of the Government of India and the delegation present here. I prayed for the progress of our nation, for peace, harmony, and for the country’s development.”
The event saw the presence of representatives from the Dargah Committee, khadims, and other officials, who participated in the ceremony alongside the Union Minister.
