UK luxury carmaker aims to strengthen India-UK ties and drive local innovation
India, Oct 09 : Tufan Erginbilgic, CEO of British luxury carmaker Rolls-Royce, has outlined the company’s ambitious plans to establish India as a key hub for its operations, leveraging the strong partnership between the two nations.
Speaking on the occasion, Erginbilgic said, “Our competitively advantaged technologies across air, land, and sea applications position us to successfully build in-country capabilities and foster strategic partnerships that will accelerate India’s progress towards a Viksit Bharat.”

Erginbilgic’s visit to India coincides with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s first official visit following the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement. Rolls-Royce participated in high level industry dialogues aimed at deepening economic cooperation under the India-UK Vision 2035.
