Russia and Ukraine exchange prisoners of war

05-02-2023 : Nearly 200 prisoners of war were exchanged between Ukraine and Russia in a deal announced independently by the two nations on Saturday. The bodies of two British volunteers were also returned to Ukraine.
116 Ukrainians had been repatriated, according to Andriy Yermak, chief of staff to the president of Ukraine, while 63 Russian POWs had been freed, according to Russian news outlets citing Moscow’s Defense Ministry.
