Emotional Tribute at NDS-Hosted Shahidi Samagam Celebrates Sikh Legacy
Jammu, 28-12-2024: A Vishesh Shahidi Samagam was organized at Gurudwara Shri Teg Bahadur Sahib by the Nami Dogri Sanstha (Regd.) to honor the unparalleled sacrifices of the Sahibzade of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj.
The event featured soulful recitations of Gurbani by Bhai Parvinder Singh, fondly known as “Apple,” and his party, along with Ms. Kulpreet Kour. Their renditions were accompanied by Chander Dhari Kesar on violin and Harpreet Singh on tabla, adding depth and emotion to the homage.
Prominent attendees included Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila, President of NDS; Prof. Anupama Sharma, Patron NDS; Yash Pal Yash, General Secretary; Mrs. Jetinder Kour, an eminent singer; Vigyan Bharti Executive Member S. Achhar Singh; and Devinder Bakshi. Their presence highlighted the community’s collective respect and reverence for the legacy of the Sahibzade.
