Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’ Set for Valentine’s Week Release
Bhansali Productions and Zee Studios bring Siddhant Chaturvedi Mrunal Thakur romance to cinemas next Valentine’s season
Mumbai, Nov 22 : Zee Studios and Bhansali Productions will release their upcoming romantic drama Do Deewane Seher Mein on February 20, 2026, perfectly timed for Valentine’s Week, Variety reported.
Starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur, the film is positioned as a modern love story infused with classic Bollywood romance. It is directed by Ravi Udyawar, best known for the critically acclaimed 2017 thriller Mom. The makers describe the project as a heartfelt exploration of love tailored for a new generation of viewers.
Chaturvedi, who has been expanding his range after roles in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Gehraiyaan, and his breakout in Gully Boy, takes on another emotionally rich character. Thakur, riding high on hits like Sita Ramam, Jersey, and Netflix’s Lust Stories 2, is expected to bring her trademark depth and charm to the film.
Producers say Do Deewane Seher Mein signals a return to sincere, melodic storytelling, supported by a music score that blends contemporary sounds with the timeless appeal of classic Hindi romance.
The film is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, along with Prerna Singh, Umesh Kumar Bansal, and Bharat Kumar Ranga, in association with Ravi Udyawar Films. Bhansali’s recent works include Gangubai Kathiawadi and the Netflix series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. His upcoming directorial, Love & War, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, is slated for release on August 14, 2026.
Kapoor, Bhatt, and Kaushal each share a past working relationship with Bhansali—Kapoor debuted in Saawariya (2007), Bhatt headlined the acclaimed Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Kaushal recently delivered one of 2025’s biggest hits with the historical epic Chhaava.
