Sarabjit felicitates new Kissan Morcha team, urges office bearers to reach out to farmers in every village
BISHNAH, JAN 3: Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory BJP Kissan Morcha President, Sarabjit Singh Johal has urged the Morcha office bearers to reach out to the farmers in every village and work relentlessly for their upliftment.
He stated this during a programme in which he along with State General Secretary Rakesh Pant felicitated the newly appointed office bearers of the Morcha at a simple yet impressive function held at Village Slade here today. After the felicitation of the new appointees, Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Kissan Morcha President, Sarabjit Singh Johal was also honoured by the new team.
While addressing the gathering on the occasion, Sarabjit Singh said that Modi government is working relentlessly working for safeguarding the interests of the farmers especially focussing on their upliftment and economic empowerment.
Asserting that the new team of the Morcha has the responsibility to leave no stone unturned in the direction of achieving the set goals in this regard, he urged all the office bearers of the Kisan Morcha to reach out to the farmers in each and every village of this Union Territory an conduct healthy interactive sessions with the farmers to take stock of the problems and issues being faced by them. He also asked them to resolve their problems by taking up the same with the concerned authorities if required.
Johal asserted that for the optimum upliftment of the farmers’ community it is necessary to make them aware about the benefits of adopting latest innovative farming techniques to enhance their produce thus enhancing their income automatically. He also asked them to take the schemes specially rolled out for the farmers to their doorsteps and ensure that they avail the entitled benefit.
