Sat, Jugal, Surinder visits flood affected in Sure Chak, assure relief and rehabilitation support
Jammu, 15 September 2025: Sat Sharma, President J&K BJP today visited Sure Chak, Chak Sardara, Tof Manasa areas of Marh Assembly Constituency to meet the flood-affected families and assured them that the party stands firmly with them in this hour of crisis. He was accompanied by MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, MLA Surinder Bhagat, District President Nand Kishore, senior leaders Ayodhya Gupta, Ravish Mengi, Jaideep Sambyal and others.
Sat Sharma, while interacting with the victims, said that BJP is committed to ensure every possible support for relief and rehabilitation of the affected people. He said that the BJP stands with the flood-affected people of Sure Chak and other flood-hit areas. He said that the party leaders are taking lead role in every relief and rescue measure since the very first day of tragedy and now the priority is to provide immediate relief and also work towards long term measures to minimize such damages in future. He said that BJP will ensure that adequate assistance reaches the victims from government agencies as well and no one is left unattended. He added that the present crisis has once again exposed the complete failure of the NC government which has miserably failed in its primary responsibility of protecting and serving the people in times of need.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the BJP leadership is in constant touch with the central government and concerned authorities to expedite relief operations. He assured that necessary funds and resources will be mobilized to ensure timely rehabilitation of the flood victims. He said that the people of Jammu & Kashmir are not alone in this disaster as the BJP is committedly engaged in serving the affected people.
Surinder Bhagat also expressed solidarity with the affected families and said that the party cadre is working round the clock at the grassroots level to provide immediate relief. He appealed to the people to remain strong and assured them of full support from BJP.
The visiting leaders also interacted with the residents, listened to their grievances and asked the local party cadre to remain actively engaged in assisting the victims until normalcy is restored.
