SC/ST/OBC & Minorities Adhikaar Manch appealed to Supreme Court for restoration of UGC-EQUITY BILL
Jammu, 14-03-2026: Speaking to the media, Sh. Narinder Datt (Chairman) of SC/ST/OBC & Minorities Adhikaar Manch said various dignitaries & intellectuals from different societies & sabhas of SC, ST, OBC & minorities gathered today in the premises of All J&K Megh Sabha, Old Rehari, & unanimously decided to demand quick restoration of UGC-EQUITY BILL from the Supreme Court of India, as the court itself observed that registered atrocities cases increased more than 118% as compared to the previous data.
He also informed the media that on 17th of March, 2026, around 10.30 am, we will gather at the Press Club near Exhibition ground & then peacefully march towards the Divisional Commissioner’s office to hand over the memorandum for the restoration of the UGC-EQUITY BILL.
