SDM Ramnagar flags off farmers’ exposure tour

UDHAMPUR, FEBRUARY 03: Department of Agriculture production and farmers welfare Sub Division Ramnagar today organized farmers exposure cum educational tour within the District under ATMA.

Sub Divisional Magistrate, Naresh Kumar flagged off the farmer’s tour of over 40 farmers drawn from different panchayats of Sub Division Ramnagar. They will visit various sites of Tikri and Dhanu Jeevika project to get the latest technical know-how and field experiences on the development of Agriculture.

While appreciating the efforts of the Agriculture Department, SDM  asked the Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer, Ramnagar J.K Choudhary to arrange more such programmes in the future for a better understanding of the Agriculture Sector. The SDM also interacted with the farmers and said that Agriculture practices are changing every day with the development of new techniques.

Among others, Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) R C Sharma, and other officers/officials of the concerned department were present on the occasion.
