Jammu, October 9: Following the historic bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories and the first-ever elections in the newly created Ladakh-Kargil region, Shiv Sena’s Jammu and Kashmir Unit today extended hearty congratulations to the I.N.D.I Alliance comprising the National Conference and Congress for their resounding victory.
A delegation of party leaders, led by State President Manish Sahni, conveyed their felicitations to Raman Bhalla, Executive President of the Jammu and Kashmir Congress.
Sahni emphasized that the people of Kargil have made a resounding statement by choosing the I.N.D.I. Alliance over the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He also noted that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are gearing up to teach the BJP a lesson in the forthcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections and elections in five states.
Sahni added, “The victory of the I.N.D.I Alliance in Kargil is just a glimpse of the real picture. The true picture will unfold in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and state elections in five states. It is certain that the BJP will face a clear rejection. The people are united to respond decisively to the division of Jammu and Kashmir, the erosion of statehood, apathy towards public issues, and divisive politics.”
Shiv Sena commended the spirited participation of the people of Kargil in the democratic process and anticipates further democratic expressions in the future.
