Shiv Sena vows to intensify its agitation against collection of registration fee for Amarnath Yatra

Going to hold protest at Jantra Mantra ,Sant Samaj, UBEM will join.

JAMMU,14-05-2023 : Seeking free registration of the Annual Shri Amarnath Yatra for pilgrims, J&K Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) unit has decided to continue its ongoing agitation till the government will not consider its demand.
This was stated by Manish Sahni, President J&K Shiv Sena unit while addressing a press conference at Party office here today.
Sahni said that the Party High Command has given instructions to intensify and continue the movement until a decision is taken in favor of the above demands. He said that a team of party state leaders led by him had met party Yuva Sena chief and MLA Aditya Thackeray in Mumbai on May 11 and handed over a memorandum demanding registration of Holy Shri Amarnath Yatra to be made free.
Sahni said that Aditya Thackeray, while expressing his strong displeasure over the recovery in the name of registration from Hindu religious pilgrimages, has raised his voice on this issue before the Governor of Maharashtra and the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and assured an appeal for relief.
Following the instructions of Party High Command, Sahni informed that the Party is going to hold protest at Jantra Mantra in Delhi in the next few days in which senior leaders of the party including Shri Raj Mata Jhande Wale Mandir, Swami Rajeshwaranand Maharaj from Delhi Avsant Samaj, National President of Uttar Bharatiya Ekta Manch Ashok Tiwari, Delhi State President Vikrant will join the protest.
Sahni warned that the Party will continue and intensify its ongoing agitation till the government will consider its demand with regard to making registration free for Annual Amarnath Yatra this year.
Among those who were present in the press conference include President Mahila wing Meenakshi Chibber, Chairman Rakesh Gupta, and Gen Secretary Vikas Bakshi.
